Another big draw of Canadian Experience Class at 508 points
Congratulations to the 6000 CEC candidates who just got their Invitation to Apply (ITAs) from Canada IRCC! As predicted, the CRS cut off score continued to decline gradually to 508 points.
The overall size of the Canada Express Entry Draw pool remains static, largely because there are fewer study permit and Canadian work permit holders in Canada who can join the Canadian Experience Class. Based on IRCC’s data, after this large draw, there are now only around 10,000 candidates in the pool with 501 points or above.
What does this tell us? Act Fast and join the pool NOW!
If your CRS score is slightly below 500, act fast and submit your Express Entry profile NOW before others do.
If you look at the past few weeks’ data, just in the 10 days between February 6 and February 15, the number of candidates between 501-600 points grew by more than 1,600. The movements in the pool show that people have noticed this narrow window of opportunity when you may get an ITA with a relatively lower CRS score. Those who were not confident previously with their low CRS score have started joining the pool.

Your Action List
So, you should take the following actions without delay:
- Check the validity of your English/ French test (they should be less than 2 years old)
- Obtain or ensure the validity of the Education Credentials Assessment for your foreign education credentials (they should be less than 5 years old)
- Decide on your primary NOC code
- Submit your Express Entry profile
