Ontario PNP Immigration Consultants
Looking to settle in Ontario in Canada? You may consider the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), which is also known as the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The PNP programs in Canada enable provinces and territories to nominate skilled workers who are interested in settling in a particular province; this may offer unique immigration opportunities for applicants who have qualifications that a province is looking for. The OINP encompasses nine different streams which target skilled foreign workers, in-demand workers, or international students who are ready to contribute to the local economy and settle in Ontario permanently. At Hopeway Immigration, we help our clients choose the right stream that meets their immigration objectives and offers them the best chance of approval. You can begin your preparation by booking a free consultation with our Ontario PNP Immigration Consultants. We are here to help you navigate the immigration process, making it clear and more manageable every step of the way.
FAQs - Ontario PNP Immigration
OINP is a provincial program managed by the Ontario provincial government, while Express Entry is a federal system. However, some OINP streams are linked to Express Entry, giving nominated candidates an additional 600 CRS points and a guaranteed invitation to apply for PR.
Yes, you can. Some OINP streams, such as the Employer Job Offer or Master’s Graduate streams, are non-Express Entry and allow direct application through the OINP portal.
Your employer must start the process by registering their business and providing information about your position by submitting a job offer in the Employer Portal. After you receive the job offer ID, you must register an Express of Interest within the deadline. Once you receive an invitation to apply (ITA), your employer must submit the application for the approval of an employment position within 14 calendar days of receiving the ITA. After that, you need to submit your application within 17 calendar days.
Yes. Once nominated, you can apply to IRCC for a bridging open work permit (BOWP) while waiting for your PR application to be processed
The Rural Community Immigration Pilot offers permanent residence to skilled workers who want to work and settle in one of the 14 rural communities across Canada. In Ontario, there are 5 participating communities, namely Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie and North Bay. Once you have a qualified job offer from a designated employer in those communities and meet other program requirements, then you may apply.
